Absalom("Salem is my Father") , king David's third son, who's sister Tamar was raped by David's eldest son, Amnon, Absalom, after waiting two years, avenged her by sending his servants to murder Amnon at a feast to which he had invited all the king's sons. Amon after years of being an outcast in the kindom for such actions was welcome back later to only seek to win the people over and seek to be the leader of the kingdom according to his own agendas not his Fathers.
In a battle Davids men killed Absalom when his hair got caught up in a tree when running.

They thought the news they brought to David would please him but it hurt him deep! Now two son's killed and during his sorrow God told him it would be Solomon who would build the temple.
