Has A Childhood Home Of Yeshua Been Located?

According to archaeologist Ken Dark, The childhood home of Jesus may have been found underneath the "Sisters of Nazareth Convent" in Nazareth, Israel.

(Although known since the 1880s, this had never previously been properly published or even studied by professional archaeologists—until the Nazareth Archaeological Project began work here in 2006.)

A pilgrim text is said to be the key evidence linking the site to Jesus Christ.

The text, called 'De Locus Sanctis', was written in 670 AD and is supposedly based on a pilgrimage made to Nazareth by a bishop who talked about a church "where once there was the house in which the Lord was nourished in his infancy".

It then describes two churches in Nazareth, one of which was the Church of Annunciation, explained Dr Dark.

He writes: "The other stood nearby and was built near a vault that also contained a spring and the remains of two tombs.

"Between these two tombs was the house in which Jesus was raised."

He added: "Was this the house where Jesus grew up? It is impossible to say on archaeological grounds.
