2 Thessalonians 2
1Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, (The Subject)

2That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us,  (had many already begun to misunderstand 1 Thess 4?) as that the day of Christ is at hand.

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away (apostasia) first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition  (apōleia)

; (Apoleia-ruin or loss (physical, spiritual or eternal): - damnable (-nation), destruction, die, perdition, X perish, pernicious ways, waste./ Apoleia shares the same root (apollumi) as one of the names (roles) of HaSatan (Apollyon). Rev.9:11 . Death directly relates to these terms and also describes the evil one in Heb.2:14)/ (apostasia-defection from truth (properly the state), ("apostasy"): - falling away, forsake./ The great apostacy IS The Great Tribulation. Those that are looking for one who comes with observation in the message of Peace prior to tribulation are already falling to the apostacy. They are waiting for the wicked one (Antichrist) Matt.24:21-26/ Dan.9:26-27; 10:16-24,27-28,31,36/

 
4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. (compare to Is.14:12-14)

5Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

6And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth (katechō) will let, until he be taken out of the way. (katecho-to hold down (fast), in various applications (literally or figuratively): - have, hold (fast), keep (in memory), let, X make toward, possess, retain, seize on, stay, take, withhold.̄/ Michael is said to be the one who boots lucifer out Rev.12:7-9)

8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume (Eze.28:18) with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish (apollumi); because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

13But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

14Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

15Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

16Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, (Lk.17:20-37)
 
17Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.


The Anti comes before the True Christ (another loose end in the theology of pre trib)! Pre trib rapture is the same doctrine the anti shall come with. Come to me, embrace me as Christ and recieve my mercy. Yet we are told Christ comes without observation in an instant, after the great apostacy, and with a sword Yet the anti comes in with observation stands in the holy place calling for reverance proclaiming the postion of Christ and he comes in peacefully, prosperously, with power and signs. Do you know the True Christ from the false? I hope so cause the generation of the fig tree is amoung us today! God is sealing his elect. He is looking for a virgin wife and his people are anointed with the oil that is the Ruach! Open for discussion.

In Closing 1 Thess 5:1-4 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

² For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

³ For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

⁴ But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

Matt.24:21 For then shall be *great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

²² And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

²³ Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

²⁴ For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

²⁵ Behold, I have told you before.

²⁶ Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

²⁷ For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

²⁸ For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

²⁹ Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

³⁰ And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

( Great tribulation summed up as false Christs (plural) and a singular he (antichrist) coming first calling people unto himself. We have been told. Question is who has had the ears to hear)
