Ex.19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

Eccl.2:8 I gathered me also silver and gold, and the peculiar treasure of kings and of the provinces: I gat me men singers and women singers, and the delights of the sons of men, as musical instruments, and that of all sorts.

______

This concept in no way speaks against tribulation but rather is about the type people who stand in tribulation.

YHVH is pleased when sees one embracing His  WORD /will and ways (LAW). Its a sure way to Praise him and show him Love: Jn. 14:15,21,23,24, Jn.15:10, Jn.15:15, 1 Jn.2:5, 1 Jn.5:2, Ex.20:6, Deut.5:10, Deut.7:9, Deut.11:1, 22 Deut.30:16, Josh 22:5, Neh.1:5,

Such people are seen as the apple of God's eye (heavily protected and guarded)
Deut.32:10, Ps.17:8, Prov.7:2, Zech.2:8

The Spiritual elect shall be Sealed as they embrace The WORD. God gives understanding. The heart knower created us for his pleasure. If he be for you who can be against you? God comforts his people from within, and The Law is a Blessing not a curse. A shepherd carries a staff for our own good. Its when we break the Law and stary from The shepherd that we find ourselves in trouble. (We know, all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God, and that the the knowledge of sin is to know the Law) One with a Ongoing Relationship with YHVH seeks to do good in his heart and knows it is he that is The Way The Truth and The Light.

Jn.10:28- 29 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

Santification review

1 Pet.2:9 9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; Jn.17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. / " Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever....."
Deut.14:2 For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God, and the Lord hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth Ps.135:4 For the Lord hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. 1Thess.4:2 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: Lev.19:2 Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy./ "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you...."/ "I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world....."/ "Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error...."/ "Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you...." / Santification (being set apart)  is a sign of being in covenant. Its important not to confuse santification with self righteousness for one cant come to him lest he draw them unto him. He loved us 1st we didnt choose him he chose us. Our part in the relationship is that we embrace G-d and bring forth fruits worthty of returning to him (be set apart/die of self). Reprobates on the other hand proclaim the good news but are not santified (live the Word) / "Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them"/ Gal.5:16-26/ Matt.5-7/ "16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you."
