Sincere

 

O’ Lord God, I hate this world.

Thank You for Your loving processing,

My Creator, my Righteousness, my God,

With reverence I worship my Holy King.

 

As the shadows flee away and a new day dawns,

You put in our hearts a most beautiful song.

 

Lord, hold our hand as in this valley we walk.

Teach us Your ways, teach us how to talk.

We can not do anything, we need Your strength.

Give us love for others as the sun does sink.

 

The masses are starving on shores of red,

Yet refuse to eat, they refuse to be fed.

 

They spend so much effort trying to escape.

They are plunged into darkness.

They can not find the Gate.

 

They say they love God,

What a shameful lie.

God does not want Pharisees.

He wants real truth from inside.

 

Oh’ we are mature,

We go to church all the year.

They are deceived. How can this be?

For their daily Bread they do not sincerely read.

 

Willingly ignorant they have chosen to be.

Clouds without rain; waves tossed by the sea.

Forever learning they build on sand.

No Rock foundation is in their plan.

 

The prophets of old ring in our ears:

“Lord, who hath believed our report?”

Very few are sincere.

 

The grapes are ripe. Egypt how it groans.

Kenites are now singing a very short song.

 

The heathen do rage. They imagine vain things.

They will bow their knees and confess with their mouth,

Our Saviour is King.

 

You who have eyes, do not despair.

God loves and will care for you,

                              Look up, You are His heirs.
