Spirit & Works go together when one is in an ongoing relationship with YHVH. Where are your good deeds?

Gal.5:22-25

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

 Jas.1:22,(23) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. Heb.10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Gal.5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Matt.5:14-15 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house (Luke 11:33) Jas.2:20 (17) But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.(Titus 2:7,14 / Titus 3:8,14) Matt.5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven

____We are to be known by our fruits___

Matt.3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: Matt.7:20 - Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. (Matthew 12:33)
2 Cor. 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Yahshua (Yeshua) speaking- John 15

___________________________John 15:1-8
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself , except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

(purge here is to say- to cleanse, of filth impurity, etc- to prune trees and vines from useless shoots / metaphoric for that which stunts spiritual growth)

Romans 10:17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

Matt.7:13-14

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Lk.13:24-27

Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

_John 15:9-23:
As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. These things I command you, that ye love one another. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me. If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin. He that hateth me hateth my Father also.

(Christians are concerned for others. This should show in all relations with others. For love is the greatest virtue and is to be used with all Christian tactics, Many fail to understand how love is used in rebuke, and discernment.)

Eph.2:

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:...

 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

....

But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit

God provides Atonement Our part is repentance and partaking of the gift

1 Jn.2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

2 Corinthians 8:22 And we have sent with them our brother, whom we have oftentimes proved diligent in many things, but now much more diligent, upon the great confidence which I have in you.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him

Rom.8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Heb.10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Heb.5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

Eph.2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God

Yeshua did his part (Provided THE Atonement that allows Grace to be open to us/ 1 Cor.5:6-8/ Jn.3:16/ Heb.2:14/ Rom.5:1-11/1 Jn.2:1..)

Acts 2:34-38 After the people believed In The sacrifice of Mashiach they asked (the Apostels) "what shall we do"

vs36-38 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

We are called to action. We areNT saved by Our works however we are required to embrace The Authority of YHVH in His blueprint for salvation as early as Genisis 3:22 immediately following the introduction of sin. This is the beginning of our part in the relationship.

Yochanan the baptist had a ministry of "Repent" Matt 3:2 /Lk.3:8

Yeshua had a ministry of Repent Matt 4:17

Its always been about a (ongoing) relationship. And i think we all know relationships take two (working together). Our work is to embrace the works of YHVH in Yeshua (Repent, Be baptised, & Endure). The strength and nature to do this again is found in YHVH.

Heb.12:1-2 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (right hand -power and works Is.48:13/ Heb.1:3/...)(2 Cor.12:9-10)

vs.3-4

For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin

Jas.1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves

Faith without works is dead Jas.2:14,17 and "perfect faith" is Faith that bares fruit Jas 2:22/ Heb.6 (also recall the parable of the soils)

Show me your faith and i will see your works and vise versa

We are justified by faith in the works of Yeshua Rom.5:1,2,9,11 (Gal.2:20-21)

Deut 6:4-5 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and
with all thy might. Notice here might shows action. We know that faith without works is dead! (Jas.2) /

Those who are familure with the bat stone should look at the Root (#181 Heb.) of the word translated might (#3966 Heb.)! The LORD takes into account Spirit and works to determine who his people are! ood- to rake together, poker (for turning or gathering embers) fire brand

3 John 1:11
Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.
1 John 4:7-8 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
