In the physical realm there are gender roles but not so much in the Spiritual other than symbolism that relates to our gender roles.
When it comes to public gatherings (and a household/ 1 Cor. 11:3,8-9) it is mans responsibility to keep order. However a man that doesn't fulfill this responsibility shouldn't expect to be respected in this sense.

Any man that would say that a woman can't serve as an instrument of edification and of the Word of YHVH, has little to no understanding of the Word.

We have many scriptures that speak of women playing a major role in bringing forth the truth (Word).
We have mention of 9 prophetesses at least (example- Philip the Evangelist had four virgin daughters who prophesied (Acts 21:9) (Miriam, Ex.15:20 / Deborah Judges4:4 / Huldah 2 Kings 22:14/ 2 Chron.34:22/ Prophetesses born a son Is.8:3 / Anna Luke2:36 ).. sons and daughters shall...

A video sermon:--> prophetess <--

Note the women at the tomb (Mk.16:1 / Luke 24) . They were first to discover that Christ had resurrected and were then asked to share this info with the disciples!
Note: the woman at the well! Jn.4:39-40 She called Many to come to Christ :)

(Rashi lists 7 from the Tanach alone:MiriamDeborahHannahAbigailHuldahEstherSarah)

Note: Deborah (a Female judge of Israel), she was a brave a faithful judge who lead Israel into battle when no man would Judges 4:8-9 :)

El- Shaddai compares his nurchering to our exsperiance with a loving caring mother. Is.66:13 . Mary (Mother of Yahshua) physically brought forth and raised Emmanuel. She like all parents would have spoken in parable form of which Christ used to speak to the children of the Father.

Gen. 3:20 - Eve was called the mother of all living (even though through transgression came death/ through umbilical cord (Eve) to umbilical cord (Mary) came Christos (Jesus) and if you be not in christ you are not spiritually alive.

Rev.4:11

Today Many Women have been forced to take on all parenting roles! They are the ones who raise the children. Yet some men would speak down of them who not only take on the role of a woman but a man that failed to take on his own. With this being so it is obvious they (good women) play a role in sharing God's Word according to his will.
Prov.22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

The Body of Christ is the Bride of Christ!

When it came to the temple of old only men were levitical priests. Many of the duties would have called for physical strength, and also call to keep order amoung the masses in a gathering. Before Rome's infulence and somewhat during "Church" and state were one within the priesthood.

1 Cor.14:34
Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.
"Keep silence" #4601

to keep silent (transitive or intransitive): - keep close (secret, silence), hold peace.

No One should chatter in service.

"Speak"- Greek #2980

A prolonged form of an otherwise obsolete verb; to talk, that is, utter words: - preach, say, speak (after), talk, tell, utter.

There is to be a certain order kept when gathering together in worship (note the term Obedience, should a man also have Obedience in "church"? Of Course. If there be an open floor with interuptions such would only stunt growth, if there were many talking at the same time that too would cause distractions. Women being mentioned here is mainly because it is more in a womans nature to chatter. It covers all the bases (men and women) to those with ears to hear.
Note 'quietness' and 'silent' are the same Greek word hesuchia (like hush:). This means 'do not chatter' or 'do not gossip'. In 2 Thess.3:12 it is translated "quietness" - 'settle down'.This instruction by Paul does not forbid a woman to contribute to church duties, but is a reminder of good behaviour and manners. (Order)

Rom. 16:7 Junia here is a female disciple of Christ. Paul says she was a follower of Christ even before he was. We see the term Salute when he mentions her! "a fellow prisoner"

All members of the Many membered body are members of Christ. Anyone who wants to add status outside of scripture should be careful.

1 Tim.2:9-15 (Gen.3:16)

In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works  Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

Dinah and her brothers who stood for her honor

In the scriptures we have use of femine and masculine attributes. While in the flesh we have gendar roles. The type gendar roles are our bases for femine and masculine in relation to the spiritual attributes described in the Bible.

Jn.16:13 "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come."

Here we see such gendar spacific terms s "he" and "himself" but in all actuality the Greek can be translated as he OR "it".  "he" ekeinos - that one (or [neuter] thing); often intensified by the article prefixed: - he, it, the other (same), selfsame, that (same, very), X their, X them, they, this, those..... / "Himself"- heautou- (Including all the other cases); from a reflexive pronoun otherwise obsolete and the genitive (dative or accusative) of G846; him (her, it, them, also [in conjunction with the personal pronoun of the other persons] my, thy, our, your) -self (-selves), etc.: - alone, her (own, -self), (he) himself, his (own), itself, one (to) another, our (thine) own (-selves), + that she had, their (own, own selves), (of) them (-selves), they, thyself, you, your (own, own conceits, own selves, -selves)

The Holy Spirit can be seen in the femine. Another name for the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth. In Proverbs 8 wisdom speaks and is in the femine. That doesnt make it a phy "woman". It doesnt mean two seperate enties (gods) got together to form Messiah. Messiah is the means (right hand of G-D) by which G-D creates. Aleph and Tav/ Alpha and Omega.

YHVH himself describes Himself in femine attributes as well. Abraham knew not the sacrid name but rather used El Shaddai (which means breasted one from Shad H#7699) and Is.66:13 mentions how YHVH will comfort like a mother (which some say he does via the Holy Spirit). Yeshua described himself in femine attributes Matt 23:37.

"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!"

Is.66:13 " As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem."

Another name for the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth. In Proverbs 8 wisdom speaks and is in the femine.

Matt 1:8 in relation to conception of the Holy Spirit it says his Mother Mary (femine in relation to the physical man Yeshua) and She was found with child , concieved of the Holy Spirit so in this particular mention is the Holy Spirit described in the femine or the masculine? Mary was mentioned in the femine and then we have mention of the Holy Spirit

Matt 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.,20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

A mekhitza is a dividing wall or barrier that is used to separate men and women. It could be simply a separate room, a curtain, or anything else that serves as a barrier. Many synagogues do not have a mekhitza; it used primary by Orthodox Jews during worship. The reason given for mekhitza is that it would supposedly help men/women focus on their prayers/worship/receiving revelation rather than on each other. In a service where they are used if a women would have spoken(asked question)to husband it would be disruptive. The men went to Yeshiva's and had much more means and time on studying Torah. THe women would naturally have questions for them. If proper manners weren't known and or practiced then the separation may be seen as encouragement to chatter which would make the female section rather disruptive.

I take some cues from dear Judith. I believe she was an instrument ( how ever small a part she will play ) of God. Her interests were not of her own, but the peoples of Israel and the battle they waged with Nebuchadnezzar the mighty king of Babylon. In short, the Israelites in the small mountain town Bethulia made a desperate resistance. Judith had prayed long to God. And went accompanied by her maid to the camp of the besiegers. Monday, April 27, 2009 Judith the Savior Once Nebuchadnezzar the mighty king of Babylon sent his general Holofernes with a powerful army against the rebellious provinces in the west with the order to punish them for their disobedience. Holofernes had already devastated large parts of Asia Minor and Syria when he reached Palestine. There the Israelites in the small mountain town Bethulia made a desperate resistance. But as the situation of the besieged turned worse, they decided to surrender the fortress after some more days. A resolute opponent of this plan was the young widow Judith, who was well known because of her beauty and her piety. She dressed and adorned herself, and went accompanied by her maid to the camp of the besiegers. Here because of her beauty and her eloquence she attracted the attention of Holofernes ( Nebuchadnezzars commander )... During their meeting, he became drunk. Because he wanted to spent the night alone with her, she murdered him with his own sword. Then she returned with his head as a trophy to the besieged town. Deprived of their commander the Babylonians fled and the whole encampment fell into the hands of the Israelites. She remained strong in her faith in God and thus has the power to kill the enemy of her people. I am in awe of her faith and strength--" Give me strength today, O Lord God of Israel!" Then she struck his neck twice with all her might, and cut off his head. Thank GOD I have never been tested in this way!! Ladies do we agree!? If wqe were however, God be wit us, no ne will be against us. What courage it must have taken her to hear the Lords wrds, and act on it!! She was one powerful warrior for The Lord. And she stands out in my mind as one of the best examples of doing Gods will.
