“Origin. Three different theories regarding Elijah's origin are presented in the Aggadahliterature: (1) he belonged to the tribe of Gad, (2) he was a Benjamite from Jerusalem, identical with the Elijah mentioned in I Chronicles 8:27, and (3) he was a priest.“

Josephus' Jewish War 1.14.4, "These reasons greatly moved the senate; at which juncture Antony came in, and told them that it was for their advantage in the Parthian war that Herod should be king; so they all gave their votes for it. And when the senate was separated, Antony and Caesar went out, with Herod between them; while the consul and the rest of the magistrates went before them, in order to offer sacrifices, and to lay the decree in the Capitol. Antony also made a feast for Herod on the first day of his reign. "

Yeshua IN you?

Have you never heard someone who had someone close passover say they live in me? Or have you never said to a child, I will be with you always (Matt.28:20)? It means they are part of your Core. They are a part of who you are. Must we look at relative scriptures? // Eph.3:17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith... // 2 Cor.13:4-5 For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.
5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?// Same concept when you partake of the bread (body) and wine (blood) of Yeshua. // Rom.8 :6-10 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be *spiritually minded is life and peace.7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.9 But *ye *are *not *in *the *flesh, but in the *Spirit, if so be that the *Spirit of God *dwell *in *you. Now if any man have not the *Spirit of *Christ, he is none of his.10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the *Spirit is life because of *righteousness.// Gal.1 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:// Gal.4:19 // Col.1:27// 2 Thess. 1:10...

Personal documentation notes:

Deut.7:1-5 forbid Israel from marrying people of certain civilizations. ( Someone of the world (nations) who dont believe and embrace Torah will cause your child to turn from YHVH).

All of Isreal told not to marry outside of the people of Israel- specific peoples mentioned. (Deut.7:3-4) and these cultures were highlighted cause of their rebellion and or disregard for the ways of G-D. (e Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and theJebusites) - " And when the Lord thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:

Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.

For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.".... / To be counted among the congregation At *Birth your Mother would need to be of Israel. Tribal identificationis done through the malesEx.21:4,8-9 (Jewish male slave given Gentile wife, (because) sons remain property after (if) father is freed)  Lev. 24:10-16Num.15:15 any one can become one of the faith of Israel.(Deut.23:3Ezra 10:2-3

Jewish Midrash:

"The" Donkey in Ex.4:20 is The "same" donkey that Abraham used in the binding of Isaac, Moses went back to Egypt upon and that Messiah will enter the kingdom of which Moses was unable.

Ex.4:20 "So Moses took his wife and his sons, mounted them upon the donkey, and he returned to the land of Egypt, and Moses took the staff of God in his hand."... Rashi- "mounted them upon the donkey: The designated donkey. That is the donkey that Abraham saddled for the binding of Isaac, and that is the one upon whom the King Messiah is destined to appear, as it is said: “humble, and riding a donkey” (Zech. 9:9). — [from Pirkei Rabbi Eliezer, ch. 31]" .... Chapter 31"Abraham rose up ■ early in the morning, and he took with him Ishmael, and Eliezer, and Isaac his son, and he saddled the ass. Upon this ass did Abraham ride. This was the ass, the offspring of that ass which was created during the twilight,^ as it is said, " And Abraham rose early in the morning, and saddled his ass " {ibid. S).^^ The same ass was also ridden upon by Moses when he came to Egypt, as it is said, " And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon the ass " (Ex. iv. 20). This || same ass will be ridden"

Zech.9:9  Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.... ("same" may not be literal of a donkey that lives 1000's of yrs....

Devils believe G-d is one and tremble. Demons acknowledge Yeshua (Jesus) was the son of G-D. Many on that day shall say "Lord, Lord" and he shall say to them depart from me ye workers of iniquity I never knew you... So these rebellious spirits "believed" in some concept of the word However to "believe" is a verb.. effort or work is involved...  Faith without works is dead. That which produces no fruit shall be cast into the fire. If two get married and one goes and commits adultery can you say that one honestly believed in their mate and their vows? Can you say the two are Echad (a unified One)?

Personal Note/ This is a simple but edifying response to the comment "Nowadays, the word 'christian' has the connotation of torah rejecting, sun-day keeping, swine eating, and pagan holidays...at least hundreds of years bears that out." - no need to identify source/.../Response... "And The Word says traditions of men make void the Word of G-D. Question is where do you as an individual stand? Messiah warned of the tares. There were even tares among the congregation in the wilderness (as well as in sects of *modern day "Judaism"). At the end of the day The Word of G-D is true and those who try to associate "Christianity" with paganism sure tend to Teach alot of paganism in all their efforts. You cant apply a modern perversion of a term to a biblical verse in *its own context. Unless you want to pervert the Word with traditions of men which is a grave sin.

Hebrew is called lashon ha'kodesh (The Holy Language). Papias - disciple of John proclaims Matt. collected the words in the Hebrew language (book of Matthew preserved in Hebrew). Acts 26:13-14 "Hebrew" not Aramaic (as suggested with NIV) the Greek is "Hebraidi". (Shem Tov's) Matt.27:46 "Yeshua cried with a loud voice, saying in the holy language, Eli, Eli Lama 'azavtani?" ( Ivrit) Shem Tov's Hebrew Matthew is obviously in Hebrew (and is considered a Hebrew manuscript of Matt.) directly quotes Ps.22:1 in Hebrew Not Aramaic Thus there is (biblical) reason to say the "Holy Language" is in fact Hebrew and not Aramaic! Hebrew is the language of Israel (- The Hebrews, though Aramaic and Greek were prevalent too) and Israel is the light unto the nations. Israel brought the Word to the nations. Moses relayed the Word in Hebrew. There are portions of the Tanakh that were given in Aramaic example Dan.2-7 where much of the speech is that of the Chaldeans as well as mention of Babylon. Who is being spoken to /in what language did the prophets speak/ hear/ teach? Deut.18:1830:14Ex.4:15;13:9Num.12:8.... 1611 Old English translation KJV intro constantly encourages relating back to the original languages and sources that the translators did the best they could. Showing that there remains the upmost importance on the Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic( Syriac / Chaldee).
