I certainly don't want to self justify abortion.I am interested in when does God's Word say human life begins.

Gen.2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
(We are told that a soul is made up of both a spirit and flesh) And again Spirit is like unto the wind, and BREATH of life of which isn't present in the womb but waters are and we hear of being born of waters and spirit (waters- water sack- womb) in order to enter the kingdom. 9There have been rebellious angels who refussed to be born of woman and most of which came to impregnate women. These rebels have already been condemned to perish)

We are told that a flesh man has both a spiritual body and a flesh body:
1 Corinthians 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
We are told that the two seperate at physical death, But do they come together at physical BIRTH or CONCEPTION? (2 Cor.5:7-10 and Ecc. 12:6-7)

Ecclesiastes 7:1A good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one's birth.

Weather life begins at birth or conception for one to embrace abortion would be terminating the natural course of life that has already been set in motion and I feel we are to have respect for life and nature.

According to the book of Luke Christ was concieved on Dec.25 and Born in September! Gabriel visted Mary at the conception and shared the fact that it was God's will at that time (Conception).

So I'm seeing the womb as step one in a process of which birth is the result and brings one forth from the spirit realm to the physical so I would never encourage one to embrace abortion and yet people will make their own choices and it seems the enemy loves to supply options.

Never been overly concerned with the abortion issue but interested in thoughts and documentation. I just looked at it as something that people persued for differ reasons do and only God can judge and know peoples hearts. and being a man and never really involved with anything of the sort I have never given it much thought.

It does seem to me though that perhaps it is an option that would be best if it didn't exsist. I do feel for any woman that may get raped and as a result got impregnated, but I feel we have to deal with the effects of bad as well as good everyday and that good can come from bad but wouldn't judge a woman in that situation(or any/not my job) if she chose to go forth with such an option.

Just interested in others thoughts on the subject and SCRIPTURE you look to. I know many have studied this more than I. For me it is all around wrong to abort and yet God is judge and I don't know all the situations, and respect the fact that all have free will and that if and when something is wrong people can and will choose to do what they will anyway.

In some situations in a hospital there is a choice to save either the mom or a unborn child.

This is the most difficult thought to ponder for me now. When I was a young lady, abortion was OUT of the question. Today, In this day, a woman ( girl ) can find birth control @ any clinic in the US of A for free. What than is the excuse for unwanted pregnancy?? Shots to prevent conseption that last for 6 month ( sometimes longer ) intervals! No pills to take even! How lazy could a woman be who does not take advantage of 1 form or another ( condoms??? ) to prevent conseption? Can not the man use protection as well as the female? YES! There are so many forms of forethought today, no excuses for unwanted babies, unless you are SO lazy! IUD's , suppositories avaliable over the counter from any drugstore or Wallmart on the planet! I just dont understand. But there is more here than this argument of lazy peoples.
I am sorry to have made such a rant over this subject, but I am very pssionate about the subject. In my mind, there just is no way a woman should have "unplanned" pregnancys anymore. And all you have to do is look on any websight to see what abortion is. It is the murder of innocents. Just my oppinion. God Bless all of my fellow students! And In Jesus Name, continued studies:)
I'm glad someone is contributing to discussions. I like discussions but am not good at starting them.

Ps.139:13-...
For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.

Luke 1:40-
And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth.41 And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:42 And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb

GOD says, "A woman has the right to an abortion. Human life begins with the 'Holy Breath': the 1st gasp for air outside the womb. Anyone claiming to be 'Pro-life[ who is prog-guns, pro-death penalty, pro-excessive military spending, and pro-endless war is a liar and a hypocrite and will be 'Judged according to their actions'".

I personally believe that physical life begins at the original 7 days of Creation.

Trust me when I tell you that you are well alive, yet half, in your father's own body, and well alive, but half, in your mother's body, and life is passed from generation to generation without interruption ever.

Life began on the day one of life on Earth and everything else comes from that bio-genesis, which evolved to man, on the 6th day and truth is man descends from less evolved mammals which evolved from saurians which belongs to the 5th day of the bio-genesis leading to us down to the 7th day, the evolutionary bottleneck.

The Adamites, the first men, were already living on the spark of a much older legacy of transmitting the flame from a generation to the next. Up to today, we are the spark of life that lasted for maybe billions of years and we have the chance to be alive in a day and age where the creature finally feels closer to understanding God and his cosmogonical phenomenon. Other species have the chance to be totally unaware of the fruits of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. They're blessed by their conditions. But we have the chance of knowing God.

Life began this far.

You're present in your father and mother's genes, which are used to produce the magic of the "pelican delivery", to keep the discussion polite. Getting the newborn out of the cabbage patch.

Your father and mother were present in their own ancestors' genes.

There is an uninterrupted connection of life and this life is at very least as sacred as the billions of years it took to make this moment real in a day we must secure the morrow for the future generations.

This truth is universal and could as well ring a bell to atheists so they understand how ingrate it is to take life away to a neverborn.
