Recently found someone who claimed to be Torah observant TRY to disqualify Yeshua as the Passover lamb. Thought i would share for discussion purposes. Here is their claim:

#1. Yeshua was not a sheep or a goat - he was a human. #2. Yeshua was not roasted with fire #3. Yeshua was not eaten #4. The blood of Yeshua was not collected in a basin. #5. The blood of Yeshua was not put on the lintel and doorposts of anyone. #6. The "remains" of Yeshua were not burned before the morning #7. Yeshua was not "without spot or blemish" - he was beaten and bloodied before his execution."

#1) guess someone doesnt understand metaphoric speech Heb.10 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.

2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.

3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.

4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:

6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.

7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.............. 1 Cor.5:6-10 .................(which i guess you reject says:) 6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

#2) First of all the burnt sacrifice and the burning of the lamb is a totally different subject (than the blood) and its timing and concept relates to the scorging of Yeshua prior to the cross.

#3) Again seems you reject the message of the NT where like the animal sacrifices of Tanakh point Forward to the cross the Symbolizim of the BREAD (BODY-Eat) and the Wine (Blood) are forms of rememberance and embrace pointing Back to the cross

#4) Are you ignoring the reason the blood was collected? I think so. Yeshua was the Temple of Almighty G-D and when his blood covers us it cleanses our temples as well

#5) didnt know people had door posts and lintels LOL.............

#6) true they were Buried which I feel relates perfectly to the need to put away any portions of the sacrifice before morning..........

#7) Spot and blemish relates to sin and Yes he was without sin (No Fault). Yeshua told us that some truths some people arent able to recieve and they struggle with Hebraisms, Metaphors PRABLES and the message of the Lord cause they are Spiritually discerned.
