Jn12:44 Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.

Jn.5:24

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (Jn.6:40,47 Jn.11:25,26 Rom.10:9,13)

... What's it mean to believe? if someone says they believe in you then mock you or have evil intentions towards you do they Believe? The Hebrew Word Emunah means faithfulness not just simply faith but faith at work. the root amen relates to firmness, steadfastness and Reliability!
