Jerusalem is the berometer of the times for a watchman.

Many prophacies were fulfilled in May of 1948 (& following) in relation to Israel's independance (reinstatement). It was the will of The Father that this came to pass as it did when it did. This does not mean this political state is the eturnal kingdom or spiritual Israel. This independance isnt all about positives either. It basically sets in motion other (future) events to come (of which many are very negative). The independance of Israel Is a sign of the final generation according to the parable of the fig tree (during this time of the gentiles/Lk.21:24).

The northern house of Israel was scattered abroad and then the house of Judah as well. In Rev.12 we have mention of a season (a thousand two hundred and threescore days) of refuge for Israel among the nations vs.6 (which is currently coming to an end as we see G-d's protection being lefted from usa, ...). Dan.9:25-27 confirms that a flood (destruction of the temple & city) comes following the crusifixtion and prior to the great Apostacy of the antichrist (Rev.12:16)

Jerusalem will be the gathering place of the crowd ("Armageddon" Rev.16:16). The antichrist will make this his captial just as Hashem has ("standing in the holy place" claiming to be Christ/ Judea Matt 24:15-16/ 2 Thess 2:4/ Lk.13:33 - in relation to slaying of two witnesses/ Mk.13:14/ Dan.9:27; 11:31).

THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION

-Dan.9:26-27 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people (Romans- Lk.19:41-44; 21:20) of the prince that shall come (little horn- Dan.7:8,24-26, *Dan.8:9,10,11,12,13,23,24,25) shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease (action of the little horn Dan.8:11,12,13; 11:31; 12:11), and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate

Matt 24:15 (Mk.13/2 Thess 2/ places the "Abomination of Desolation" (mentioned in Dan) at the end prior to the return of Yeshua (and on the temple mount). (note Matt 24:23,26 people are saying there is messiah/ yet its the false one)

-Dan.11:31 And arms shall stand on his (the vile person Dan.11:21) part, and they shall pollute (by putting up the abomination) the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

What is our daily sacrifice today? Its our relationship with YHVH in the name (character) of Yeshua (Jesus). This vile one marks the people in their forheads (spirits) and hand (works) by causeing them to shift that relationship towards him.  He will stand in the holy place (temple mount Matt.24:15/ 2 Thess.2:4/ Mk.13:14) taking away peoples sacrifices to YHVH because he perverts ("polutes") these sacrifices (Polutes/ by setting up the abomination/false sacrifice. The end is marked by "cleansing of the sanctuary" Dan.8:14; 9:24).

*sacrifice- properly a slaughter, that is, the flesh of an animal; by implication a sacrifice (the victim or the act): - offer (-ing), sacrifice./ Causing The Mark-(Hand/ action/ devotion/ physical sacrifice)

*oblation- From an unused root meaning to apportion, that is, bestow; a donation; euphemistically tribute; specifically a sacrificial offering (usually bloodless and voluntary): - gift, oblation, (meat) offering, present, sacrifice./ Causing mark- (Forehead/ Spirit- by way of intelect, love, devotion/ 666

*cease- to repose, that is, desist from exertion; used in many implied relations (causatively, figuratively or specifically): - (cause to, let, make to) cease, celebrate, cause (make) to fail, keep (sabbath), suffer to be lacking, leave, put away (down), (make to) rest, rid, still, take away.

The Abomination is the desolation, Rather than the desolation being the abomination.

Abomination (Hebrew #8251 disgusting, that is, filthy; especially idolatrous or (concretely) an idol: - abominable filth (idol, -ation), detestable (thing). From 8262

(Greek #946 a detestation, that is, (specifically) idolatry: - abomination. from 948)

Also preterists have no answer to : who is ("was") the individual that we were warned against that Shall be revealed prior to the Great trib. /before the return of Messiah (Matt 24:23-26/ 2 Thess 2:3-4,6-10)? The great deciever that the disciples warned and were warned about.

Just as he ascended he shall descend Acts 1:11 (Matt 16:28 "coming"- from the Greek means coming or going and some of the disciples being spoken to saw Christ ascend the mount of transfiguration)
