Out of all un-kosher foods swine has to be the most advertised. Those in international and interfaith fields often hear muslims making the claim "we dont eat swine" in such a arrogant way that they seem to think this makes them holy. (yet what else can a muslim really talk about islam has nothing to offer)

This subject isn't being raised as a Salvation issue.

Col.2:16-17 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

(1 Tim.4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth./"which God hath created to be received". Question is did God create swine to be received?)

YHVH knows what makes these flesh bodies sick and what it takes to live a healthy life. YHVH wants us to live healthy lives and for this reason He has given us Heath (Kosher) Laws. Our bodies are to be treated as temples of the Holy Spirit. Some Scientific Facts on pork that prove it to be a very unhealthy food to eat:



> Pigs eat Anything including urine, excrement, dirt, decaying animal flesh, maggots, or decaying vegetables, garbage....

> Swine do not have sweat glands.  Perspiration is a means by which toxins are removed from the body. They do release some toxins through their mouth like dogs (who also lack sweat glands) as well as their feet. This allows them to take such toxins back in as well. The swine Stores toxins in their fat (meat/flesh). When you eat swine you ingest these toxins and in return get sick (diseased).
 

> Cows (a kosher meat/ BEEF) have a complex digestive system, having four stomachs. Cattle take over 24 hrs to digest their (vegetarian/kosher) diet causing its food to be purified of any toxins. In contrast, the swine's one stomach takes only about 4 hours to digest its foul diet, turning its toxic food into flesh.

Some farmers have been known to pen up pigs within a rattlesnake nest because the pigs will eat the snakes, and if bitten they face little threat.

The trichinae worm of the swine is microscopically small, and once ingested can lodge itself in our intestines, muscles, spinal cord or the brain. This results in the disease trichinosis. The symptoms are sometimes lacking, but when present they are mistaken for other diseases, such as typhoid, arthritis, rheumatism, gastritis, MS, meningitis, gall bladder trouble, or acute alcoholism.

The swine carries about 30 diseases which can be easily passed to humans.

Kosher (Health) Laws concerning animal meat:

Lev.11:2-3 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth. (1) Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, (2) and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.

Lev.11:7 And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be cloven-footed, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.

Lev.11:8 Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcass shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.


 The pig is so poisonous and filthy, that nature had to prepare him a sewer line coming from an outlet in the bottom of the foot. Out of this hole oozes pus and filth his body cannot pass into its system fast enough. Some of this pus gets into the meat of the pig. The Pig doesn't reject re ingesting this if it gets on anything they injest.



God prohibited eating swine more than once in His Word.

"And the swine, because it divides the hoof, yet does not chew the cud, it is unclean unto you: you shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase." - Deuteronomy 14:8

Those who say Christ abolished the law condemning pork are motivated by their stomach not Scripture (Still want to note i'm not stressing kosher laws as a salvation issue but we do know that it is a sin to defile our bodies (temples) and to disregard his Word. If you do eat pork dont be surprised if you receive un healthy effects.  Biological effects of transgressing these laws are very real this is why God took the time to educate His People on what is and isnt good for them.

In certain cultures its hard if possible to eat completely kosher.

Example: A child born in a home and society where un kosher diets are the norm are obviously introduced to unkosher products and often times as the only means of eating.

Example: To eat  out in restaurants in unkosher cultures means that the same kitchen products used to prepare your kosher choices have also been used to prepare unkosher products so think you ate kosher in such am environment in vanity.

While health situations apply to all not all kosher laws were presented to all in same standard.

Example: Deut.14:21 Kosher law of Not eating anything that died (of itself), yet notice its okay to give it to the Nations (non-"jews"/ those Not of Israel).

Ye shall not eat of anything that dieth of itself: thou shalt give it unto the stranger that is in thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto an alien: for thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk

Here we see a different order for those not physically of The Kingdom. Israel was to keep the Letter (literal) of the Law. Christians must meet Spiritual requirements (Col.2:17). Example: Phy. circumcision was commanded to Abraham and for his descendants and those that that dwelled in his Home (servants) as well as those who embrace Passover (Ex.12:48). Now we know that Christ fulfilled the Passover sacrifice 1 Cor.5:6-8. And believers of the nations are told the Must have a circumcised heart (this spiritual concept was know among those who kept the letter (literal/ Physical) of the Law as well.

1 Cor. 10:27 / Is Conscience sake and physical health (sake) the same? The Jewish culture has alot of views about mixed tables and sitting down to eat with the goyim (Acts 10:28) / ("Bishul Akum"). The concept of double jeopardy (killing the young and cooking it in the same substance that was to keep it alive is an insult to The Creator). Orthadox Jews refuse to cook meat in general with dairy (milk). They even keep a separate set of pots and pans to avoid doing so. So what is the proper respect (informative link <--)? (Gen.18:8?)

  We also have those who dont understand Acts 10 and what was being revealed. Acts 10:

vs.13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.

¹⁴ But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.

¹⁵ And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

....... (Peter didnt yet comprehend the meaning of the vision but later (in vs.28) tells us the meaning:

Thus G-D used UNCLEAN Meats as symbolizim to show Peter not to call the gentiles unclean who have come into covenant.

Gal.6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting./ Your body is to be a temple of the Spirit. You break health laws and your health will recieve the effects
