Urim Thummim האורים והתומים /Inspired (revealed) judgement and perception

also known as "seers", yet a differance than that of enchanters and seers of Deut.18:10. The Urmim and Thummim was revealation associated with the Levitical Priests Through the breastplate stones which relayed a answer which also included What many say was a piece of parchment stored in a fold of the breastplate behind it which had on it the Sacred name of G-D.. Today we basically relay on the gift of Discernment via the Holy Spirit that resides in those who  have an ongoing relationship with YHVH.

At the bottom of this page you willl see a link titled "stones" where one guy uses light to point to the stones listed in Rev.21 and how with a specific type of lighting makes certain stones light up. the link above in Hebrew also refers to the stones of the breastplate and how the have the Aleph bet inscribed on them which tends to draw a picture of how the URIM  & TUMIM could have communicated using the Hebrew alphabet. (Other claims tend to assert that literal lots were cast  as in stones much like dice where one stone represented yes and another represented no weather one would light up in the priests hand or would land in a certain way where the priest could determine a yes or no).
