Deut.27:12-13 The tribes were split into tow groups to stand on both the mount of blessings and the mount of cursings to recite the blessings and curses. Mt. Gerizim being mount of blessings (Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph and Benjamineand) Mount Ebal being the mount of curses (Reuban, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali)
