Not sure if this stone I found earlier this year was formed naturally or by man but it strongly resembles a fish, from the proper placement of the gills, fins and tail to the eye and nostril which from this perspective you can't really see. It's bottom is flat and wide enough that it sits upright perfectly as if it was specifically designed to sit upright but as I said it may have been formed that way by nature, I simply don't know. However, an interestng side note is that the place that I found it is documented to even as recent as a few hundred years ago as being a "swamp-like" area,(not to mention my town lies right on the Ky river and contains many creeks within it's small boundries,) and perhaps something like this could have been a used as a sign to others traveling near the area that fish and water wildlife food sources were prevelant. That's just a theory I "fished" up though lol. We also know that throughout history the symbol of the fish was also commonly used by christians, just something to consider :) I make no assumtions*
