"universal" describes them well. This "church" is much like the culture they sprung from. full of idolatry and perversion. Thats what this church does. It attempts to mold many ideologies together (sadly under Christ's name). The name of todays pope, "Jorge Bergoglio " or pope "francis" even confirms this character. Ones character can often be recognized within the meaning of their name (The Hebrew "shem" means Both name & character). I dont personally know this individual (inspect his fruits) but he now represents the earthly leadership of the "catholic" religion (which has made man /Peter "the first pope" the rock of their church rather than the fact that Yeshua is the Messiah of which the grave could not prevail). So would it be a strech to see any clue of this in his character (name)? "Jorge" means planter, and in the bible we know not every planter plants good seed or brings forth good fruits Matt 13:24-30(Tares)/ Matt 7:15-20(good or bad fruit, wolves in sheeps clothing)/ 2 Cor.11:14-15 (transformed/disguised as ministers of light)(Gal.5:19-26). "bergoglio"- "berg"- moutain, hill, or mass/ oglio -an archaic varient of olio which means *miscellaneous *mixture or collection (hodgepodge)/ which is basically what "catholic" means. The catholic "church" has combined concepts of Christianity to paganism, idolatry, and multi-faith acceptance throughout its existence (Deut.12:30) some say in order to bring pagans to Christ yet there is no excuse for this perversion. "Francis" means of France or freewill (Jas.1:14). Man can justify anything within his own freewill. The Hebrew for free will is nedab (H#5069)and includes spontaneity which again points to impuse rather than being fixed on The Rock. We had the character Nadab in the bible and his name also relates to freewill. Nadab(#5070 comes from #5068 which also corresponds to #5069) upon his own self justification used *strange fire to making offering to HaShem. This was a clear transgression and lead to he himself being consumed of fire./ Rome is an enemy to The Church (Israel). Romans crucified Christ, Occupied Israel and perverted its priesthood and nation (not that it needed much help in that day), Persecuted & Killed early Christians, and the rock of the rcc is Not the Rock of Christianity. You can't get more perverted than Roman catholicism.
