Faith description:: Christian who is concerned about Pastor Murray's response today to the young lady's friend who asked "How do we know God exists?" Why wouldn't he mention that there is evidence of a young earth (supporting creation), that we can see God in nature (the ontological argument), or that the facts of the resurrection have not been refuted? Take your pick or cite others. There are times not to get an argument but to dismiss this person as hopelessly lost is why, in my view, the "love" shown by evangelical Christians is called into question.

However i know that Murray often makes the point that Christians aren't to say anyone is hopeless of salvation but rather we are called to share the good news of Salvation. I often think of way i would ansers the questions differently. You may find the blog "The WORD is Inspired" to touch on this subject in a way that you will see Murrays responce in a different light!
