my testimony

my testimony all started when my father was stationed in Guam...I was 12....my best friend Patricia Waterman and I were the last ones on the coral reef floor...all of a sudden the sky grew very dark, the wind picked up and a HUGE wave started making it's way towards patty and me....to brace ourselves against the onslaught of this wave, patty and I sought refuge against the coral reef cliff, bracing ourselves as best we could for the impact....the wave came completely over patty, never touching me and we were standing side by side...patty fell, tripping me and both of us went over the coral reef floor straight into the open ocean....patty being a much stronger swimmer than I was, made it to safety quicker....each time the wave would bring me close to the reef floor it pushed me under it...each time the wave went out it took me further out into the open ocean...I went under 6 times, each time feeling like hours before I would resurface....there was a calm and peace that I had never known before and a light that emulated when I was under....a voice told me to have no fear that everything would be ok...all of a sudden the winds calmed, the ocean calmed and the sky went blue....I felt a pair of hands go under me and they placed me gently on top of that coral reef floor....God saved me that day and I am thankful for His mercy that he has shown me in these years.. I love The Lord and I know I haven't shown half the love or gratitude to Him that I should but I KNOW without a shadow of a doubt that God IS REAL....and Jesus loves everyone and does NOT want ANYONE to perish...it is He that saved my life that day and it is something I will NEVER forget as long as I live
