Shema- Hear and Do.

Who is listening to the voice of G-D?

Hear His Voice

Heb 3:7 Therefore, just as the Ruach ha-Kodesh says, “Today if you hear His voice,
Heb 3:8 do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, on the day of testing in the wilderness.
Heb 3:9 There your fathers put Me to the test, though they saw My works for forty years.
Heb 3:10 Therefore I was provoked by this generation, and I said, ‘They always go astray in their heart, and they have not known My ways.’
Heb 3:11 As I swore in my wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest.’”

Countless times in scripture we told to Hear His Voice. Not to read His Voice. Not Hear Another’s Voice. But to Hear His Voice.
Deu 4:36 From the heavens He made you hear His voice to instruct you, and on earth He caused you to see His great fire—you heard His words from the midst of the fire.

Psa 95:7 For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, the flock of His hand. Today, if you hear His voice:
Psa 95:8 “Do not harden your heart as at Meribah, as in the day of Massah in the wilderness,
Psa 95:9 when your fathers tested Me, they challenged Me, even though they had seen My work.
Psa 95:10 For forty years I loathed that generation. So I said: ‘It is a people whose heart goes astray, who do not know My ways.’
Psa 95:11 Therefore I swore in My anger, ‘They shall never enter into My rest.’”

Exo 15:26 He said, “If you diligently listen to the voice of Adonai your God, do what is right in His eyes, pay attention to His mitzvot, and keep all His decrees, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians. For I am Adonai who heals you.”

Deu 8:20 Like the nations Adonai makes perish before you, so you will perish, since you would not listen to the voice of Adonai your God.

Deu 13:19 when you listen to the voice of Adonai your God, keeping all His mitzvot that I am commanding you today, doing what is right in the eyes of Adonai your God.
Deu 15:5 If only you would carefully listen to the voice of Adonai your God, being careful to do all these mitzvah that I am commanding you today!

When we listen to ADONAI’s Voice, and His Voice alone, life is good. But when we refuse to hear and heed His Voice, calamity strikes, as countless testimonies in scripture attest to. Including the Pauls quotation from the Psalm 95.
How do we discern that we are hearing His Voice? The Ruach Ha-Kodesh speaks to us testifying to truth. The Ruach Ha-Kodesh distinguishes between words spoken from ABBA’s heart and words spoken from the hearts of men. Hear O Israel! Do not harden your hearts as you have done since leaving Egypt always seeking the Voice another and not the Voice of your G-D." - Charles Medina

Proverbs 1:20-33

Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying, How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men. Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways. Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.

Happy are thy men, happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and that hear thy wisdom.
