Nice to hear the Good News! Yeshua heals and is the means in which YHVH has provided all Atonement. As far as what happened to the set apart ones upon Passing Over Prior to the crusifixtion i personally look to a few areas of scripture. I dont believe YHVH is confinded to space and time (Acts.7:48-50,; 17:24-30,...) and that prior a mark on a timeline the truth of the crusifixtion stood- 2 Tim.1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,(Rev.13:8/Rev.17:8). While the blood of animals never completely fulfill the sacrifice the forshadow carried the spiritual embrace of the body and blood of Yeshua just as the wine and bread does looking back. Looking at those set apart ones prior to the fulfilment i think of people such as Abraham (who met Yeshua prior to his Messiah's phy birth according to my faith in scripture). It is said that Abraham's Faith was counted as righteousness (Gen.15:6/ Rom.3:28; 4:1-8/ Gal.3:6-7). Christ described a place of rest for those in the covenant as being in Abraham's bosom (set apart from the area of those outside the covenant). I also think of Moshe, Eliyahu, and the Enoch Ben Seth while all are considered to have been trasfigured they have left this physical realm and reffered to as being taken to heaven and or walking with God. HaSatan even exspressed tourment at not knowing the place of Moshe. With victory over the grave Yeshua certainly deliever some from "prison" that had Passed over.1 Pet.3:18-20 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the UNjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were Disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. I dont think this included those that were justified by faith. Yeshua says in Lk.5:32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. and Abraham again was counted as righteous according to his faith and walking in The Covenant. There was a people that were told that it will be more tolerable for sodom and gamorah in the day of judgement than for you. (excuse the quick pharaprase/ short on time) this is because sin was the way of life in sodom and gamorah and they hadnt recieved the Law/Gospel. These type souls would have need of the Gospel on the other side.
