Finding Harmony In The Word

1 Cor.7:17 ? (family santification)

1 Cor.7:14

"For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy."

When many come across this verse they ask how does this work. Well first they are "sanctified" relative to the effect their family member has on them Then they become "holy".

In Marriage two become one (echad). An unbelieving spouse is sanctified (set apart) by his/her better half. They see the life they live in faith and how it relates to their lives and this can effect their outlook on life (and belief) as well thus now setting them apart from the ways of the world and those who dont have this same outlook and its effects. Jn.17(:17,19) shows how Yeshua's (Jesus) living example effected his disciples which he considered his family (Matt.12:50/ Mark 3:35).

As for a child: "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Pro.22:6)/ I have seen this verse to be true. I grew up in a home of believing parents (though i dont share all their beliefs and or denominations) and their lifestyles helped shaped the person I am. However I like the prodigal son (Lk.15:11-32) still went out into the world and lived in it for too long. In the world there was something missing. Through my journey I saw and played a part in all sorts of transgressions (just to be honest). Being that I grew up in my families home there was something I noticed I just couldnt find in the world. I eventually got P.T.S. (post tramatic stress). I know this was in direct relation to my spirit crying out for what it was now missing (for i had experianced it through my family what the world couldnt give me). Doctors couldn't help me, they would just medicate me to try and cover up (or mask) the P.T.S.. Eventually (thanks to Hashem) I crossed paths with another believer who always had words of encouragment, hope and truth always giving credit to G-D and expressing G-D's love and concern for me (There is an old saying: " When the student is ready a teacher will appear/ Praise be to Yah). I then found that anytime I spent in G-D's Word was healing me. While I was in His Word I felt none of the effects of P.T.S.. .Eventually I was healed of P.T.S. (by way of me feeding my spirit with the Word and applying it to my life like my parents had done in my youth). This is how the verse worked for me!

Mixing disturbs the line /in relation to the lieniage/ but no ones birth is ever a sin. Judaism (based on biblical verses) says for a male Jew to take a none Jewish wife puts the offspring of such bonds in danger of falling away from the faith. To be considered physically born into the congregation of Israel ones mother should be Jewish. However tribal identification is done through the males. As far as the faith goes though there is no race.
