Lev. 18:21, Deut. 18:10, Deuteronomy 13,18, 12:30-31, Jeremiah 19:4-6, Psalm 106:37-38, and in Ezekiel 16:20 are places where its forbiden for man to make human sacrifice (religious ritual) The crusifixtion wasnt a religious ritual of human sacrifice it was captial punishment.

Psa_49:7 Truly no man can ransom another, or give to ELOHIM the price of his life

Num.35:33 - death of high priest atoning as stated in midrash which states the about this text that the high spirituality of the righteous is a powerful atonement. So naturally the death of Messiah would carry greater atonement.

”33And you shall not corrupt the land in which you live, for the blood corrupts the land, and the blood which is shed in the land cannot be atoned for except through the blood of the one who shed it.”

The Midrashic passage that RALBAG cites, referring to Messiah as Prophet, states:

It is written, Behold, my servant shall deal wisely, He shall be exalted, and extolled, and be very high (Isaiah 52:13). It means, He shall be more exalted than Abraham of whom it is written, ‘I lift up my hand’ (Genesis 14:22). He shall be more extolled than Moses of whom it is said, ‘As a nursing father beareth the nursing child’ (Numbers 11:12). ‘And shall be very high’—that is, Messiah shall be higher than the ministering angels. Zohar 2:212a! When there is no temple messiah atones!

Heb.10:1-13/  According to Yoma 39b, God did not accept the sacrifices that were offered on the Day of Atonement for the last forty years(Every year following the cross unto the destruction of the temple!) before the destruction of the [Second] Temple.
