Yeshua told us to pray to the Father.

"After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name."- Matt.6:9

 

Tanakh (OT)

Deut.6:4 - שְׁמַע, יִשְׂרָאֵל: יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ, יְהוָה אֶחָד

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

Yeshua quoted the sh'ma

"And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord"- Mk.12:29

Sh'ma Yis'ra'eil Adonai Eloheinu Adonai echad.

 

The LORD (singular) your God (devine judgement/ plural) is ONE LORD (singular)/ ONE Almighty that is detail is mentioned in seperated RELATIONs.

They are one in the context of Elohim (devine judgement).

1 Jn.5:7 (NT) For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

 

When we partake of the Passover sacrifice that is Yeshua Christ then we too become a part of this oneness that is Elohim. So believers in the Complete Word Pray to the Almighty ONE (Our Father)- YHVH (Adonai), yet we do so in the name of Yeshua to show that we are his sheep and to show authority over the enemy that we claim the inheritance and victory. This is Praying in the Holy Spirit (spirit of truth).

 

1 Cor.6:9 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

 

It's common place that those who use the term "trinity" most often dont embrace the biblical context of the Godhead that is Elohim / El Shaddai/ God, in proper detail. Others get caught up in one office (relation) of the Almighty therefore stunting their growth as well to the fact that YHVH answered Moses with- "Ehyeh asher ehyeh"- properly translated in many ways: I am That I am/ I will be(come) that I will be(come)/ I shall be that I shall be/ I will be who I will be/ I will be which I will be/ and or/ I will be where I will be .

 

The Omnipotent One!

Its good to always keep in mind the (NT) verse:

Jn.4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

 

Notice Yeshua Never said God when speaking to the Father. He did when quoting others (example David) but Emmanuel always called him Father (Abba).

 

Before the time of Moses our Patriarchs and Prophets didnt use the sacrid name! They used the title El Shaddai- Ex.6:3 - "God Almighty"

 

The Hebrew (, Greek, English...) have many titles and names to mention "God" in all his relations to Creation, man, nature, actions,... But the highlighted focuss of Prayer is to communicate with The Omnipotent One.

 

Prayer should always be from the heart. Pray as you are moved to pray and as often as you are moved to do so. the fact is God knows our hearts and what we have need of, So we are to comunicate with him in Spirit for earthly man knows not what to pray for.

Romans 8:26

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Eph.6:18

Isaiah 56:7
Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
Hosea 6:6
For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
(mercy - love/ God wants your love/ When we show love to another we are instruments of God for God is Love)

Christ- "It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves."

Keep the communiction open. Dont only speak to your Father when you want something.
